Job Title: Site Engineer – Substation Project
Location: Norfolk
Rate: £280 – £340 per day (DOE)
Duration: 3–4 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for a short-term contract role on a substation project based in Norfolk. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established civil engineering contractor on a fast-paced energy infrastructure scheme.

Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for substation civil works including foundations, ducting, and concrete bases

*

Managing quality control and ensuring work is delivered in accordance with specifications and drawings

*

Providing technical support and liaising with the project manager and site team

*

Maintaining site records and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

*

Proven experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering or substation projects

*

Proficient with setting out equipment (e.g. Leica/Trimble)

*

CSCS card (essential)

*

SSSTS/SMSTS (preferred)

*

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Rate & Hours:

*

Competitive day rate of £280 – £340 depending on experience

*

Standard working hours, with potential for additional overtime
