Job Title: Site Engineer – Highways (8-Week Contract)
Location: Swindon
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: 8 Weeks
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer for an upcoming highways project based in Swindon. This is an 8-week contract position, offering an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team on a fast-paced civil engineering scheme.
Key Responsibilities:

Setting out for roads, paving, and drainage
*
Carrying out QA checks and maintaining accurate records
*
Producing as-built surveys and reports
*
Liaising with site teams and subcontractors to ensure works are delivered to specification and on schedule
*
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards on site
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or similar civil engineering projects
*
Proficient in the use of setting out equipment (e.g., GPS, Total Station)
*
Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings and specifications
*
Ability to carry out QA documentation and as-built records
*
CSCS card and relevant engineering qualification
Rate: Competitive day rate (CIS or LTD)
