Site Engineer – Setting Out Works
Location: Substation, Tamworth
Start Date: Monday 5th May 2025
Duration: Approx. 4–5 months (with potential to extend)
The Role
We’re recruiting a proactive Site Engineer to lead setting-out activities on a high-voltage substation project in Tamworth. You’ll be responsible for:
*
Precise setting-out using the supplied Leica TS16
*
Preparing and managing RAMS documentation
*
Supervising a gang of circa 6 skilled civils operatives
*
Coordinating associated reinforced concrete (RC), drainage, civils and S278 works
What We’re Looking For
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on civils or infrastructure projects
*
Valid SMSTS or SSSTS certification
*
Current First Aid at Work qualification
*
Strong knowledge of setting-out techniques and site surveying instruments
*
Excellent organisational, communication and team-leadership skills
