Site Engineer – Earthworks Scheme | 6-Month Contract | Luton | Outside IR35
Location: Luton
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Negotiable (Outside IR35)
Start: ASAP
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Engineer to support a major earthworks scheme in Luton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer confident in taking the lead on technical site tasks within a dynamic project environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and manage 3D models for site works
*
Perform accurate surveying using Trimble GPS equipment
*
Manage and maintain machine control systems
*
Produce as-built surveys to project specifications
*
Run weekly volume calculations and reports
*
Collaborate effectively with project management, subcontractors, and design teams
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Engineer on earthworks or civil engineering projects
*
Proficiency in Trimble GPS surveying systems
*
Strong background in 3D modelling and machine control
*
Ability to produce clear, concise as-built documentation
*
Experience with volume reporting and earthworks data analysis
*
Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence
