Site Agent - HS2 - Highways, Drainage & Earthworks Expertise Required!
Are you a highly skilled and experienced Site Agent with a proven track record in delivering complex highways, drainage, and earthworks projects, particularly within the HS2 context?
We're seeking a motivated and results-oriented Site Agent to join a team on a major section of the HS2 project. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a transformative infrastructure development while working on a challenging and rewarding scheme.
What you'll be doing:
Leading and managing all aspects of site operations, ensuring the efficient and safe execution of highways, drainage, and earthworks.
Overseeing the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
Implementing and maintaining strict health and safety protocols on site.
Liaising with HS2 Ltd representatives, project stakeholders, and external bodies.
Managing budgets, resources, and timelines effectively to achieve project goals.
Monitoring progress, reporting on performance, and resolving any issues promptly.
What you'll bring:
Extensive experience as a Site Agent on large-scale civil engineering projects, with a demonstrable focus on highways, drainage, and earthworks.
Proven track record of working on HS2 or similar high-profile infrastructure projects.
A strong understanding of construction techniques, health and safety regulations, and quality control processes relevant to the disciplines mentioned.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage teams.
Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities, with a proactive approach to challenges.
