An excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and driven lawyer with 3 or more years' post-qualification experience to join a leading boutique maritime law firm, renowned for its expertise in shipping and international trade.
The Firm
A specialist maritime and international trade law firm based in the City of London, this boutique practice is highly regarded for its expertise in shipping, commodities, and insurance disputes. With a strong focus on contentious work, particularly in dry shipping, the firm acts for a broad international client base including shipowners, charterers, P&I clubs, and traders.
The firm is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate (title commensurate with experience) to join its busy and close-knit team, with a primary focus on contentious dry shipping matters.
Key responsibilities:
Handling a wide range of dry shipping disputes, including charterparty, bill of lading, and cargo claims.
Advising clients on LMAA and other international arbitration proceedings, as well as High Court litigation.
Working closely with partners on complex, high-value cases while managing your own caseload.
