Service Engineer

A brand new opportunity has become available, working for a widely regarded machine tool provider, to join their expanding team.

Formed of highly experienced ex-OEM and agent engineers, the team provides exceptional support to a diverse customer base, including Aerospace, MOD and Defence

Benefits include an excellent basic salary, a realistic OTE of £55 - £60K including paid door to door, weekday and weekend overtime rates, company vehicle with choice of car or car allowance, meal allowances, mobile phone & laptop, 33 days holiday, death in service insurance, and a private pension.

Responsibilities for the service engineer include -

* Carry out breakdown repairs and maintenance of CNC Machines including multi axis Mills and Lathes

* Routine service and inspections, as well as fault finding

* Carrying out both mechanical and minor electrical repairs to the machinery

* Machine levelling and alignments

* Installation and commissioning of machinery on site

* Ordering of parts from the office, replacing and retrofitting
