Due to further expansion, an established material handling business has a newly created opportunity for a Service Engineer to join the team in the Barnsley and Leeds area. You will be working with a friendly team and working on some interesting equipment. Responsibilities of the Service Engineer
Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager.
Diagnosing the exact nature of each query and repair with a friendly, efficient, 'can-do' attitude.
Completing a report for each job on a PDA system.Requirements of the role:
NVQ Level 3 in Plant, Maintenance or Vehicle - Preferably Apprentice trained
Experienced Service Engineer in the MHE Industry
Full UK Driving License
Good at managing own workload and able to cope with pressure.
Present a professional image - be trustworthy, punctual and polite.
Good team player.In return the Service Engineer will be offered the following package.
Door to Door payments after 30minuites
Van - Personal use, first 50 personal miles free then 19p per mile
Contracted 40-hour week, OT paid at one and a half Monday to Saturday and double time Sundays
£100 on call pay with a minimum of 4hrs pay when called out.
Referral Scheme: £1000 paid out when they start and a further £1000 after 12months of employment.
