Service Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to join our team, specialising in the repair and maintenance of PVC, composite, and aluminium windows and doors. This role requires a highly motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Duties:

* Perform repairs on PVC, composite, and aluminium doors and windows.

* Gain entry into PVC and composite doors and Windows to facilitate repairs.

* Replace and adjust locking mechanisms on doors and windows.

* Fit new hinges, ironmongery, and hardware.

* Survey unrepairable doors and windows for replacement.

* Install new single, double, and triple-glazed units.

* Carry out emergency board ups for broken glass when necessary.

* Use our mobile app to receive and complete paperwork for the office.

* Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.

* Work independently and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

* Be highly motivated to complete repairs on 1st visit where possible.

Skills:

* Preferable experience in door and window repairs.

* Strong knowledge of various door and window systems, including PVC, composite, and aluminium.

* Valid driving license (essential).

* Ability to work under minimal supervision.

* Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Company Vehicle, Mobile Phone and Hand Tools Provided.

Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.

Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
