Menzies Distribution has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Warehouse Team Leaderto join our team based in Maidstone.


  • Job Role: Senior Warehouse Team Leader
  • Salary:  £25,000 - £27,000 Per Annum dependant on experiance
  • Location: Unit C Larkfield Industrial Estate, New Hythe Lane, Aylesford, ME20 6SW
  • Hours: 38 Hours Per Week
  • Shift Pattern: 

                     Tuesday 09:30am – 16:30pm                     Wednesday 10:00am – 19:00pm                      Thursday 10:00am – 18:00pm                      Friday 09:00am – 17:00pm                     Saturday 07:30am – 16:00pm 


  • Reporting directly to the Senior Supervisor and Day Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing workload within the Returns department
  • You will be required to organise and manage a team of Scanners and Loaders to process all returns on a daily basis through the branch ensuring targets and KPI’s are met
  • You will ensure customer returns are processed in accordance with Company Procedures
  • You will ensure a safe working environment to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations
  • You will undertake additional duties together with associated responsibilities as may be requested by Management
  • Responsible for overseeing and managing the returns department on a daily basis
  • Accountable for managing staff training & development, absence & return to work interviews, conduct and performance
  • Ensure Customer requirements are met in a timely, safe and efficient manner with the daily work loaded completed the same day


  • Experienced approach to prioritisation of daily tasks
  • A common-sense approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks in a pressurised environment
  • Comfortable working to strict deadlines
