Job Description Purpose of the Job:
Affixxius Films is looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our fast-paced, highly skilled, and multi-award-winning commercial film production team. The role will see the successful candidate working on a huge variety of commercial film projects and will work closely with our Head of Post-Production to help ensure the Post-Production department runs smoothly. The position will also encompass a client-facing element, dealing directly with clients for reviews and amends of work as well as maintaining regular and professional email and telephone contact.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Video Editing:
• Taking of editing briefs with detailed understanding, working closely with Director’s and Executive Producers to understand the aims and requirements of each project.
• Structural and Creative Editing - to an exceptionally high standard - on a wide range of commercial film projects (for both commercial and education sector customers).
• To organise and manage projects in the Post-Production phase on both a technical and project management level, including logging of footage where required.
