Job Title: Senior Vehicle Technician – LCV
Department: Fleet
Location: Wednesbury
Job Type: Full-Time/Permanent
Salary: TBC based on experience
Hours: 2pm to 10pm
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Vehicle Technician to join our clients fleet team. This is a great opportunity to work with a wide range of manufacturers and models, allowing you to broaden your skillset and stay current with evolving vehicle technology. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our fleet is safe, efficient, and road-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform services, repairs, and maintenance on customer vehicles, including both minor and major mechanical work
* Carry out vehicle health checks and road tests
* Undertake mechanical, electrical, and engine diagnostics and repairs
* Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and provide appropriate repair recommendations
* Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve issues, especially with Renault vehicles
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure timely and high-quality repairs
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
* Communicate effectively with relevant teams regarding repair findings and recommendations
What We’re Looking For:
* Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
* Experience in wiring and camera maintenance
* Proven experience in car servicing and repairs
* Full and valid UK driving licence
* Strong technical knowledge and attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
Reporting to: Fleet Manager
