Senior Software Engineer

Job Description I'm working with the Head of Engineering for one of the most modern, high-performance FX trading firms the market has ever seen. They are renowned for their ultra-low latency, event-driven systems which have been utilised by almost every major trading firm, bank and fund in London.

I am looking for Senior Core Java Developers to drive the buildout of an entirely new cloud-native project which will revolutionise the way they trade. The successful candidate will have ownership of projects in this group from inception to production. This team operate as a startup within the firm, encouraging the use of opensource technologies to make sending, trading and accessing assets in real-time achievable.

Requirements:
8+ years commercial experience building high performance systems in Core Java
Good knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
Good knowledge of Kafka
STEM degree from a top university
