Senior Site Manager – Public Sector Projects
Location: Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £75,000 (All-Inclusive Package)

Ridgeway & Co are partnering with a Tier 1 main contractor with a long-standing reputation for delivering award-winning public sector projects across education, healthcare, and government frameworks. Due to continued growth in Cambridgeshire, they are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to join their delivery team on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:

Leading full site operations from inception to completion
*
Managing subcontractors, trades, and internal site teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations
*
Ensuring health & safety compliance across all activities and enforcing company procedures
*
Working collaboratively with commercial, design, and planning teams to ensure programme performance
*
Client and stakeholder liaison – representing the company in meetings and progress reporting
*
Oversight of QA/QC processes, site reporting, and project documentation
Requirements:
*
Significant experience delivering public sector or framework projects for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor
*
Strong leadership and organisational skills with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
*
SMSTS, CSCS (Black Card), First Aid – essential
*
A track record of managing medium-to-large value projects (£10m+) through all phases of construction
