Senior Quantity Surveyor

On the back of an ever-increasing amount of new business our client is looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong Civils and Rail project work experience
As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for assisting the Commercial Manager in implementing commercial reporting systems and procedures to maximise commercial benefits of all responsible contracts, with particular focus on risk mitigation, pricing of variations, detailed cost management and day-to-day management of contracts or a portfolio of contracts.

Responsibilities:
* Overseeing cost-analysis and estimating process against an agreed Schedule of Rates.
* Preparing Activity Schedules, Resource Schedules & analysis tender documents.
* Reviewing complex contract programmes.
* Assisting with the preparation of delay and disruption programmes.
* Monitoring subcontract activities, measure and respond appropriately.
* Analysing the commercial progress and report to senior project staff.
* Managing commercial aspects with Customer and Stakeholders for their area of responsibility.
* Undertaking constructability analyses using construction programmes.
