Senior Quantity Surveyor

An opportunity for a Senior QS has become available working for a leading civil engineering contractor on a water treatment project in Suffolk. The scheme is part of the wider Sizewell C power station and is valued at £12M with completion expected September 2026. This is a hybrid working role with three days per week expected on site. The Role Reporting to the Commercial Manager responsibilities will include: Sub-contract procurement and managment
Providing accurate and detailed cost management and reporting
Ensuring all commercial objectives are achieved across the project
Conducting cost value reconciliation and regular cost forecasting
Preparing and negotiating subcontract and supply chain management
Maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations
Experience Required Suitable Senior Quantity Surveyors will be educated to BSc / HNC Quantity Surveying
The Senior QS will have significant experience working on civil engineering or large utility projects under NEC conditions
