Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description Our client is one of the UK's leading privately owned infrastructure specialists and Main Contractors, delivering projects and frameworks across the UK.\n\nWorking on and delivering civil engineering water projects across South London, this is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor, from an infrastructure background, with previous experience either working on Civils, Water or Utilities projects.\n\nAs a key member of the team delivering your own portfolio, you will liaise with customer representatives, subcontractors and other third parties on commercial issues including the agreement of variations, claims and any additional payments.\n\nSenior Quantity Surveyor roles and responsibilities:\n\nEnsure robust, accurate and timely cost and value reporting at both project and business unit level.\nWork with project delivery teams to forecast predicted spend and cash recovery and ensure that both are kept in line with the target.\nCarrying out cost management including forecasting, updating the monthly CVR, cost and commercial plans.\nHelp ensure that any main contracts entered into have terms and conditions that are appropriate, with commercial risks identified.\nEnsure that the supply chain is engaged appropriately with the correct contract terms and conditions.\nBe responsible for subcontract letting, negotiation...
