We are seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a £35M new build & refurb job, in the Cambridge area.
Coming from a proven track record of Quantity Surveying, your role will be to carry out surveying duties including cost reporting & CVR by way of regular site visits as well as hybrid/office based work to ensure that the job is to budget.
The existing commercial team is relatively young, overseen by a highly experienced Managing Surveyor; some mentoring will be required as part of the Senior QS role in terms of supporting existing Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
The company in question is a privately owned, forward thinking Main Contractor that turns over some £1.3B, with £500M in the bank at all times. Their office is relatively new, which is based on the outskirts of Cambridge and has been operational for some 18 months.
Now is a particularly good time to join this well known Contractor, due to internal promotion opportunities.
