We are working with a leading Tier 1 contractor renowned for delivering high-quality construction projects across the UK.
 
With a strong pipeline of work across education, healthcare, commercial, and public sector developments, they are now seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team based in their Glasgow office.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career with a company that values integrity, innovation, and long-term career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the commercial management of projects from inception through to final account

Prepare, submit, and manage interim valuations and final accounts

Provide detailed cost reports and manage budgets effectively

Liaise closely with site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met

Assess and manage risk and opportunity across your portfolio

Mentor and support junior team members

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally with a main contractor

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

Knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts

Excellent negotiation and communication skills

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Commitment to quality, safety, and client satisfaction
