The Senior Quantity Surveyor role is pivotal in delivering construction projects within budget and time constraints. This role will require a keen eye for detail and outstanding negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.

Description

Oversee all commercial aspects of construction projects.
Ensure projects are delivered within budget by forecasting costs and managing expenses.
Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
Prepare and analyse tenders for contracts.
Implement cost control measures to minimise project overspend.
Manage and resolve any contractual disputes.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure project targets are met.
Conduct risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.Profile

A successful Senior Quantity Surveyor should have:

A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
Experience in the property/construction industry, specifically in construction.
Proficient negotiation skills.
Strong knowledge of construction contracts and legislation.
Excellent problem-solving abilities.

An estimated salary range of £75,000 - £82,500 GBP per annum.
