Senior Quality Engineer

A Quality Engineer is required to join a recognised manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry, who supply a wide range of their components to some of the most recognised Aerospace names globally. Offering a salary of �35,000 to �40,000 per annum, pension scheme, ongoing training and support and an attractive employee benefits program this is the ideal opportunity for a candidate who has an engineering or manufacturing background.

Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer

• Work closely with the Manufacturing function to conduct problem solving activities and implement corrective actions.
• Support quality improvement across cross functional teams and departments
• Complete calibration of all inspection and process instruments
• Conduct root cause analysis, SPC and other appropriate quality tools and techniques to ensure that the manufacturing processes meet customer requirements
• Support continuous improvement within the organisation
• Liaise with the manufacturing function to provide support for problem resolution as required

Requirements of the Quality Engineer

• Previous experience as Quality Engineer
• Internal Auditor for AS9100
• Experience working in a machine shop, or with machined parts and processes
• Proficient in problem solving techniques and root cause analysis
