A Quality Engineer is required to join a recognised manufacturing company in the Aerospace industry, who supply a wide range of their components to some of the most recognised Aerospace names globally. Responsibilities of the Quality Engineer
- Work closely with the Manufacturing function to conduct problem solving activities and implement corrective actions.
- Support quality improvement across cross functional teams and departments
- Complete calibration of all inspection and process instruments
- Conduct root cause analysis, SPC and other appropriate quality tools and techniques to ensure that the manufacturing processes meet customer requirements
- Support continuous improvement within the organisation
- Liaise with the manufacturing function to provide support for problem resolution as required
Requirements of the Quality Engineer
- Previous experience as Quality Engineer
- Internal Auditor for AS9100
- Experience working in a machine shop, or with machined parts and processes
- Proficient in problem solving techniques and root cause analysis
