Senior Management Accountant Annual Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

My client is a dynamic mechanical and electrical contractor that is going through significant growth with projects in the London area and they are looking to expand within their accounts department, they are seeking a senior management accountant to supervise a small team, this is the ideal role for someone to take ownership and learn, progress within their career in a fast-paced environment.
Day-to-day of the role: Manage and assist a small team ensuring all invoices, purchase orders, delivery notes, and personnel expenses are processed accurately and promptly.
Oversee the procurement and purchase ledger functions, liaising with suppliers to resolve disputes and assist with account reconciliations.
Submit monthly VAT returns and perform monthly reconciliations to the general ledgers.
Negotiate and manage credit accounts with external suppliers and subcontractors.
Assist with the submission of subcontractor invoices, verify CIS status, and oversee subcontractor agreements.
Support the Head of Accounts with month-end tasks, ensuring reporting and data integrity.
