Exciting Opportunity for a Senior Maintenance Electrician



Are you a skilled Senior Maintenance Electrician looking for a rewarding opportunity? We have an exciting full-time, permanent position available with a FM Team at a Hospital in Oxford. Join us in making a difference every day!





Position: Senior Maintenance Electrician

Location: Oxford Hospital

Working Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hours per week)





Key Responsibilities:





  • Act as Lead Technician, overseeing electrical building services installation and maintenance techniques on-site.




  • Apply your trade skills and experience while providing one-on-one training to team members.




  • Ensure completion of statutory obligations and all allocated maintenance, repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works within SLAs and KPIs.




  • Take on AP/RP roles where applicable or receive training to enhance your skillset.




  • Conduct testing and inspection in line with City & Guilds 2391 standards.







Skills & Qualifications:





  • Qualifications: Must have a recognised electrical trade apprenticeship and/or Level 3 qualifications (theory & practice) in a relevant electrical discipline.




  • HV & LV AP Qualified: Required




  • Experience:





    • Extensive experience in building services.




    • Knowledge of air handling plants and water hygiene.




    • Experience within a Healthcare environment is a plus, particularly with medical gases.






  • Willingness to Learn: Must be open to cross-skilling to expand your capabilities.




  • Skills:





    • Strong customer service and communication skills.




    • Excellent planning, organising, and prioritising skills.




    • Demonstrated ability to use initiative and judgement to resolve issues.




    • Strong understanding of Health and Safety procedures (formal training is a bonus).
