Senior Legal Counsel

H&P has been commissioned by a prominent player in the insurance industry to enhance their legal division in the UK with the addition of a Senior Legal Counsel. This position will primarily focus on providing support to early-stage businesses within the portfolio. Below are the outlined details and prerequisites:
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the legal team to address internal and external legal concerns for the business, demonstrating a proactive approach to tasks.
- Providing guidance to the board and key stakeholders regarding the legal trajectory of the business.
- Operating within a rapidly evolving environment poised for further expansion.
Requirements:
- Possession of 8+ years of legal expertise, acquired either through a law firm or in an in-house capacity.
- Qualification in England and Wales.
- Essential prior involvement in the insurance sector.
- Experience with Managing General Agents (MGAs) would be highly advantageous.
