Senior Landscape Architect

Job DescriptionNeo Environmental, an award-winning planning and environmental consultancy, have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Landscape Architect to work on a broad range of projects, with the key focus on renewable energy. The position will offer the right individual the opportunity to work for a well-established and growing planning and environmental consultancy. We are flexible on location between our Ballymena, Warrington and Glasgow office locations, and offer hybrid working.The successful candidate will work on a wide variety of projects, with the main focus on renewable energy developments. You will be given plenty of opportunity to develop your skills and expertise through ongoing mentoring and training in a friendly environment. The ideal candidates will be able to work with a high degree of independence as well as in teams.Duties Undertaking site visits and Landscape and Visual Assessment (LVAs)Working as part of a multi-disciplinary teamProviding landscape design advice relating to LVAs and LVIAProducing or aiding in the production of Landscape PlansUndertaking site visits and photographyLiaising with clients, local authorities and statutory consulteesEssential Criteria Degree in Landscape ArchitectureProven technical abilityGood communication skillsKnowledge of the LVA/LVIA processGood knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation.Experienced in GIS and other software packages such as SketchupAn ability to work independently when necessary and meet strict deadlines, whilst maintaining attention to detail and working to the highest standardsFull driving licence and preferably own transportFlexible and willing to travel Desirable Criteria Demonstrable experience in a consultancy environmentChartered or on pathway to chartershipLVA and LVIA experienceBid production As an ambitious, rapidly growing environmental consultancy, we are always keen to hear from talented, determined and committed individuals who want to join our expanding environmental team.NO AGENCIES PLEASE
