Senior Formulation Scientist - Early Stage

SRG is currently working exclusively with a highly successful, rapidly expanding pharmaceutical company focused on providing expert intelligence and support to their partners, driven by their capabilities.

As a result of expansion, we are looking for a Senior Formulations Scientists to join their early development formulation team.

Role:

All administration routes & formulation types for small and large molecules.

Typical responsibilities/accountabilities:

• Early development and optimisation of pharmaceutical dosage forms for veterinary use to include, but not limited to, oral tablets, suspensions and solutions, sterile injectable suspensions and solutions, topical suspensions and solutions, and intra-mammary preparations.
• Assist with Reverse engineering of commercial reference products.
• Support Scale up and Tech Transfer of NPD projects into Operations
• Assessment of critical material attributes of APIs
• Management of the financial aspects of projects with clients, such as costing proposals and invoicing
• Manage CRO activities on behalf of the clients.
• Maintenance of accurate records, preparation of protocols and reports for both group and R&D management.

Essential Requirements:

• Educated to at least a bachelor or higher in chemistry or related discipline, with at least 3 years of experience in either industry or academia.
• Experience of Quality by Design.
• Be able to design, develop, manufacture, develop and scale up of oral dosage formulations.
• Be able to manage multiple projects and collaborate with external parties.
• Valid UK driving license.
