An exciting opportunity to lead and help deliver a multi-discipline range of fire safety solutions for a varied client base. This is a hybrid role with national travel upon occasion to conduct site visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Work following RIBA stages of work conducting fire engineering design and analysis. Complete assignments that generate revenue for the business through Fire Strategies and/or CFD Modelling.
* Work alongside the Managing Director, Operations Director and other staff to drive the business forwards and actively contribute to its development and growth.
* Be responsible for delivering work to the highest standards on all projects.
* Build and maintain relationships with all good clients.
* Maintain a positive attitude when assisting clients and assist them with any project they need assistance with regardless of size.
* Engage in the financial aspects of projects to generate fee proposals and appropriate approvals are in place. Additionally, ensure invoices are paid in a timely manner.
* Support all others in the business where possible to ensure a smooth operation of the business, including assisting the Operations Manager where requested to do so.
* Keep up to date with the news and events in the industry and share any new knowledge with the rest of the technical team in the business.
* Manage your own training needs and be pro-active about finding training events and courses that suit your training needs.
* Embrace the systems and processes used by the business and identify any areas where these can be improved.
* Contribute to the successful operation of the business by attending team meetings.
