As Senior Operations Finance Business Partner you will lead the Operations Finance team enabling great decisions across our six production and logistics facilities.
You will be a permanent member of the Future Supply and Current Supply strategic teams, partnering the Chairs of these teams and playing a key role as an independent, critical friend, using your influencing skills to ensure that the priorities of the teams are the right ones, that recommendations are based on robust and appropriate evidence, and that decisions are implemented effectively.
You will be a member of the Performance Outlook team, providing independent assessment and challenge, and enabling performance.
You will work collaboratively and flexibly, working within cross-functional teams on start-stop initiatives as required to meet immediate business needs, as commissioned by permanent constituents of our operating model, or within your functional remit. This will include economic evaluation of asset investments, and the development of costing models to enable great decision making in support of growth across our brand and own-label portfolios.
This is a hybrid role, split between working from our offices at Blagdon or Highbridge and home, with regular travel to sites.
Essential:
Qualified accountant (CIMA or ACA) with substantial post qualification experience
Experience within the Manufacturing sector and ideally of multi-site FMCG companies
Deep understanding and experience of Standard Costing
Demonstrable experience of implementing best-in-class budgeting, forecasting and performance management across multi-site/departmental organisations
Comfortable analysing and assessing data to draw insights, assess performance and identify required interventions
Significant expertise in performing economic evaluations in support of great decision making
Demonstrate a confident, solution-oriented approach with an ability to challenge assumptions and maintain objectivity
Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels of the business
Strong coaching skills to support and develop your team
Willingness to adopt a flexible working approach, including regular travel across sites as required
Desirable:
Experience with Dynamics AX, BI, IFS
Experience within food sector
