The roleWe are looking for an experienced Facilities Manager to manage the day to day operation of our Manchester office.You'll support our Head of facilities with ad hoc projects, ensure that all standards are upheld across the site as well as ensuring all that all health and safety requirements are met at all times.Your teamWhat we do today in Facilities shapes the Group of tomorrow. Our support has to meet the ever-changing needs of the boohoo family.What you'll be doingAble to optimize the use of space and equipment while reducing operating costsSupporting construction team to coordinating all installations and refurbishmentsManaging the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standardInspecting buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs / renovations and maintain standardsReview utilities consumption and strive to minimize costSupervise and develop all staff facilities staff undertaking regular one to ones, goal setting and maintain H&S training requiredManage all facilities contracts undertaking monthly operational reviews and annual forecastingAllocate office space according to needsHandle insurance plans and service contractsKeep financial and non-financial recordsPerform analysis and forecasting for strategic planning and budgetsWork with sustainability team to report portfolio performance and opportunities for reducing environmental impactProvide support to Group Facilities & Construction manager on strategic facilities projectsWork closely with Facilities teams in other locations to support and develop a group approach though the portfolioWorking with usTo succeed here, you have to love working at pace.
