Job Description Fawkes & Reece are proud to be partnered with a market leading Principal Main Contractor seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing team in Leeds.\n\nThe role of a Senior Estimator\n\nAs an experienced Senior Estimator you will play a key part of the thriving pre-construction team, responsible for preparing detailed and accurate cost estimates for residential, commercial and office to residential refurbishment, fit-outs and new build projects, typically ranging up to £30m. Providing a unique in-house approach delivering value and expertise in maximising offices into residential spaces with consistently high quality project delivery. \n\nMy clients challenge the traditional way of working which means their clients benefit from a smoother planning, design and construction process.
With all the technical services sitting under one roof, working together as one collective team.\n\nResponsibilities of an Estimator\n\nResponsible for the financial preparation of bids/ tenders for the business.\nWork in partnership with the team throughout the pre-construction and bid/ tender process.\nEnsure bids/ tenders are risk assessed and reported to the directors.\nManage mid bid/ tender and Final tender adjudications with directors.\nPrepare costings/ submissions in the agreed format consistent with the company b...
