Senior Electrical Engineer - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Questech are recruiting on behalf of our client in Bristol for an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer for a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract.

They are looking for a qualified and competent industrial Electrical engineer, with a good general understanding of all electrical systems, such as PLC & Automation, networking, SCADA, AC drive systems and general material handling systems.

You will oversee all daily operations of the plant, ensure all necessary RCA are completed, have budgetary control of your area and drive improvements in all aspects of reliability and energy efficiency of the plant.

80% Office Based including Meetings

20% Plant Based

The Person:

* HNC/HND or suitably experienced in a similar role for >2 years

* BEng Electrical Engineering

* Proven experience of planning in a FMCG environment

* Previous frontline maintenance experience within an FMCG facility

* Knowledge of PPM and continuous improvement techniques

* Experience in plant metrics, operation analysis, KPI’s and dashboard measurement tools

* Experience of CBM programme

* IOSH working safely / IOSH Managing safely

* Lean six sigma (yellow belt)

* Project management training

* TPM training / MS Project

* You must be an excellent coach, with the ability to continue to push and drive the development of your team and others around you.
