Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Phoenix Solutions & Consulting have partnered with a leading Aviation Design Organisation who are seeking to add senior design Engineers specialising in electronics or firmware engineerig for avionics and maritime applications.

Responcibilities

* Design and simulate schematics (OrCAD and KiCAD experience preferred).

* Review PCB layouts (experience with Allegro is a plus).

* Develop embedded firmware (VHDL and C).

* Support verification and qualification processes (knowledge of DO-178, DO-254, BS EN 61508 beneficial).

* Take ownership of assigned work packages, ensuring timely delivery within budget and technical requirements.

Essential Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in electronic engineering or similar in a related field.

* 5+ years of experience in electronic design and development.

* Strong schematic design and capture skills (OrCAD experience ideal).

* Proficiency in embedded programming.

* Right to live and work in the United Kingdom

* holding or eligibility for Security Clearance
