Job DescriptionVattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as Senior Compensation & Benefits Specialist functionally responsible for C&B in UK and in Denmark. The vast majority of the employees in these countries work within Business Area Wind, Heat and Staff. The position reports to the Director Compensation & Benefits and is a member of the C&B team of Vattenfall. The main responsibility for the team is to develop and drive the Compensation & Benefit agenda for Vattenfall. The Compensation and Benefits team consists of, in addition to the Director C&B, Country leads for Sweden, Germany and The Netherlands respectively and C&B Specialists, all in all 14 persons.What are you going to do as C&B Specialist?The main responsibilities for the Senior Compensation and Benefits Specialist (UK and Denmark) are to implement global Group C&B processes in UK and Denmark and a full responsibility for all C&B specific matters within these countries. The UK/Denmark-lead for Compensation & Benefits is responsible to drive the compensation and benefits agenda in these countries at strategic and operative level and to ensure that our remuneration enables the organization within Vattenfall to drive/support a high-performance culture and to secure relevant and diverse competence and talent.To attract and retain talent is a top priority for Vattenfall and very important within Business Area Wind, Heat and Staff where the need of specialist competence in a market with high competition for talents is key.The UK and Denmark-lead is also contributing to the development of group processes related to Compensation & Benefits, including ASR, STI, International Assignments, salary setting processes in general, variable pay programs, Job Evaluation etc. and responsible for its implementation and execution in the countries. The UK/Denmark -lead will work closely with HR managers, HRBP's and the Shared Service organization/HR Ops ensuring smooth and efficient work processes and well established and accepted “ways of working”Key deliverables and activitiesWith the foundation of the group reward strategy and policies drive the work with setting the salary structure for the different job roles in the countries to secure a competitive total compensation setupDrive the Annual Salary Review for UK/DK end to end.Drive the annual STI process end to end in the countriesEnsure that managers in continuously receives relevant training within the function.Fully accountable for developing and implementing country specific policies within C&B.Provide input of the estimated total compensation cost into the yearly budget-processEnsure seamless and efficient processes and well accepted “ways of working” within in the function, well in sync with the Shared Service organization/HR Ops and other stakeholders. Continuously seeking to digitalize and simplify.Contribute to the development within the area of C&B group wide.Strong cooperation with the other members of the C&B team to drive the total reward strategy.Ensuring that remunerations schemes operate effectively and meet performance, quality targets as well as complying with market standards and the guideline for a Swedish state-owned company.Keeping up to date with current regulations and monitoring changes in the compensation and benefit area in UK/DK.Co-operate with HR managers and other internal stakeholder to understand the business demands and need within the compensation & benefit area.LocationLondon or KoldingQualificationsWho are you?Our best candidate has a relevant academic degree in HR or Law and documented experience fromfunctional leadership and at least 10 years of experience within related topic.Familiarity with various types of compensation schemes and benefits, and modern digital solutions within C&BExperience form working with C&B topics in both in Denmark and UKGreat communication skills, able to rapidly establish credibility for own personHands on mentality, not afraid to get hands dirty to get the work done.Collaborative believes sharing is win-win and is empowering others.Has a strategic mindset, able to see through complexity but also able to simplify to get buy-in from others.Has great judgement and is pragmatic, understanding which issues should be addressed and when.Able to work in a matrix organization in an international setting, balancing different stakeholder needs and deal with political complexity.Is passionate about the overall environmental impact vision of VattenfallIs genuinely interested in the business and how the own function can contribute to the success of the companyHas a strong match with the Vattenfall experience principles (Open, Active, Positive & Safety), being able to role model these in the organization.Command of English is strong, both verbally and writtenAdditional InformationOur offer
