Senior CNC Machinist

We are looking to hire a Senior CNC Machinist to join our machine shop in Methlick, Aberdeenshire.

Key duties

* Interpret client specifications, enter them onto the CNC machine,

* set up machine and monitor it as it operates to ensure delivery of quality precision made parts.

* Optimise the machining processes in terms of consistent quality and productivity.

* Supervise and coordinate activities in the machine shop.

* Operating computer-controlled machine to cut, make and manufacture precision parts.

* Load and unload material, set up and operate a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

* Assisting in Quality control of parts and stock control.

* Ensuring that operating policies and procedures are adhered too.

* Basic servicing and maintenance of equipment.

* General house keeping.

Experience

* Previous experience operating CNC Machinery

* Strong leadership experience in a similar working environment

Qualifications / Training

* Recognised apprenticeship or training program in a technical discipline preferred.
