Job Description Investigo have partnered with a UK wide, B2B telecommunications organisation, who are looking to make a strategic hire within their procurement team, adding a Senior Category Manager to focus on inventory management, logistics and supply chain.
You’ll report to the Head of Procurement and lead the development and execution of procurement strategy across Logistics and other critical spend categories such as Indirect, Connectivity, Civils, Network hardware, software, and services. This highly visible position is central to driving best-in-class procurement practices and delivering commercial value across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with department leaders to align procurement strategies with business objectives
Develop and implement category plans and sourcing strategies
Lead high-value, complex negotiations and contract development
Provide market insights and data to influence decision-making
Manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and ensure compliance across spend categories
Contribute to team development through mentoring and strategic input
