This a great opportunity to work with one of the biggest branded food businesses in their Global Food team. They are some of the most recognisable brands in the category and are continuing to grow the portfolio with an exciting line of NPD and acquiring high growth brands.
The role is a Senior Brand Manager for the Europe team and you will own one of the largest brands in the business. You will be responsible for long term strategy of the brand in the core markets for the business and implementing the strategy across key distributors with innovative activations and promotions to continue to penetrate the market.
You will be expected to inspire both internal and external key personal with creative story telling and have a inquisitive mindset to not only understand the market but also identify opportunities for the business to continue to grow. The successful candidate will also have one direct report that will manage some of the smaller markets on the brand and the expectation is to build up and develop the candidate to continue to take on more responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:- Own the Brand long and short term Strategy and execute it across the core European markets
- Build relationships with key distributors to drive the strategy in line with business expectations
- Be creative and innovative with in store activations to drive awareness and sales of the brand
- Work cross functionally with the Sales and supply chain team to execute and develop the brand strategy
- Track brand performance and key consumer trends
- Shape the pipeline of the brands innovation to help continue to penetrate the EU market
- Manage the brand P&L and take responsibility for allocating budget effectively to achieve the highest return on investment.
- Manage and develop one direct report and guide them to unlock their full potential
Requirements:- Experience with Brand Marketing in the FMCG industry
- A curious and inquisitive mindset
- Great communication skills and ability to form relationships both internally and externally
- A challenging mindset with the ability to form and articulate strong opinions
- Experience working in a European market with distributors is ideal
- Entrepreneurial mindset to be able to identify opportunities to progress the brand and execute on them.
