Our OEM Client based in Ryton-on-Dunsmore, Coventry, is searching for a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team on an Inside IR35 contractor basis.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of new production materials, equipment, and technologies before conducting mass production.
Completes manufacturing research & development to solve problems related to production cost and quality.
Conducts technical feasibility tests to ensure production efficiency.
Evaluates project capacity as the basis for production process design and development.
Develops and implements standard manufacturing procedures.
Evaluates production processes to reduce overall costs.
Determines product quality standards and arranges equipment and tools to support production.
Selects and communicates with vendors to determine product specifications. Ensures products are delivered within approved timelines and budget.
Level: A Specialist Professional (P4) is a recognized subject matter expert in job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience.
Skills:
Managing large projects or processes with limited oversight from manager.
Coaching, reviewing and delegating work to lower-level professionals.
Problems faced are difficult and often complex
