Our client in Barnsley are seeking a Senior Accounts Assistant to take ownership of the end-to-end purchase ledger process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all transactions. You'll also play a key role in generating financial reports, supporting month-end close activities, and contributing to the smooth running of the finance function.

Your new role
Uploading invoices through various platforms.
Process financial transactions and generate reports.
Supporting the finance team with productivity reporting and analysis.
Taking ownership of the purchase ledger process from start to finish, including supplier payments
Managing weekly sales data
Handling day-to-day sales ledger tasks, including raising and sending invoices to a range of clients.
Chasing and checking proof of delivery documents, and updating records where needed.
