Senior .NET Developer Contract until 31st of March 2025 Cardiff – Hybrid or remote working £200 per day Inside IR35 via UmbrellaThe Senior .NET Developer will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications using .NET technologies. This role requires managing the full systems development life cycle, ensuring the effective implementation of software solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet the organization’s needs, particularly within an NHS environment.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications using .NET technologiesManage the full systems development life-cycle, ensuring effective implementation of software solutionsCollaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needsProvide technical guidance and support to development staffEnsure compliance with formal analysis and logical design methodologiesParticipate in the evaluation of new technologies and their potential applications within the organizationTechnical Skills:Proficiency in systems/API development, in .NET and HL7Ability to provide support to staff regarding IT development issuesUnderstanding of Agile Project Management methodologyDatabase Administration skills – Oracle, SQL Server, No-SQLKnowledge of Spark and HadoopDesign experience using Oracle Designer and IBM Rational RoseFamiliarity with multi-user operating systems e.g. UNIX, Windows, LinuxAdditional requirements:Experience working in the NHS Working Arrangements:The office base is in Cardiff. Occasional onsite work may be required without negotiation on the day rate.
