SENDCo – Full-Time | Primary School | Newham (Forest Gate)

Location: Forest Gate, Newham
Full-Time: Monday to Friday | Term Time Only | 8:15am – 4:00pm
Start Date: Tuesday 20th or Wednesday 21st May 2025
Contract: Minimum 6-Month Booking
Salary: Paid to Scale
Enhanced DBS Required

One of our fantastic partner primary schools in Newham is urgently seeking an experienced SENDCo for a non-teaching role to start immediately. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing SEND provision and EHCPs across the school.

A full handover will be provided, and must be completed before Thursday 22nd May 2025.

Requirements:

*

QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

*

Minimum 1 year’s experience as a SENDCo or Inclusion Leader in a UK primary school

*

In-depth knowledge of the SEN Code of Practice and EHCP processes

*

Experience using data to raise achievement

*

Proven track record of improving pupil outcomes

*

Skilled in working with children with complex barriers to learning

*

Confident collaborating with external agencies and the wider school community

Key Responsibilities:

*

Lead and manage the school’s SEND provision

*

Coordinate EHCP plans and reviews

*

Ensure compliance with statutory SEND responsibilities

*

Support and liaise with staff, parents, and external professionals

*

Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
