SEND Teaching Assistant
Start date: 5th May 2025
Pay: £13.86 to £16.29 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 12pm
Monarch Education are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs to support a child in a Year 5 class (Key Stage 2) within a friendly, diverse, two-form entry school in Oxford (OX4).
The school has an Ofsted rating of "Good" and pride themselves on their 'family' feel. They have a nurturing ethos that provides children with the best possible environment to learn and achieve. If you are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them to thrive, then this could be the role for you.
You will be supporting a Year 5 child on a 2:1 basis each morning. The benefits of this approach allow you to work closely with colleagues to develop a consistent approach to support the child, working as a team to promote and deliver success.
The post is until the end of the academic year, although there is the possibility of the role being extended into next academic year.
