SEND Teacher, Oxford
A secondary school in Oxford are appointing an experienced SEND teacher to join their school on a full time basis. The role will start September 2025 and theu have asked Monarch Education to assist with the recruitment process.
The role will involve teaching small groups of students with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and will require experience and an understanding of working with children with additional needs.
It is essential to have experience of working with young people with SEMH and Autism, the use of positive behaviour management strategies is encouraged and all applicants must be able to show how they have supported behaviour in similar roles. The role of a teacher in the school will involve planning all curriculum core subject lessons and leading a team of learning support assistants.
