Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to work full time at an SEND Secondary School in the Nuneaton area. The hours for this Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant role are 8.30am -3.30pm, 5 days per week. This role is for the full academic year from September 2024 until July 2025. It is essential that you hold a relevant Level 3 qualification.

Requirements of applicant:

• Level 3 relevant childcare qualification
• Sound knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• At least a year's experience of working with children who have SEN and/or SEMH needs

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Help management to plan and deliver learning activities to stimulate the individual needs of each pupil
• Providing regular feedback to parents on the progression of each child
• Encourage the social development of all children
• Ensure all children always feel safe and their welfare is always looked after
• Ensure children's personal hygiene is of a high standard at all times
