Position of SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator).
The Role: As an SENCo, you will lead and manage special educational needs provision across the trust, working alongside a skilled and supportive team. You will be responsible for ensuring that students with SEN receive tailored support that helps them thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the provision for students with special educational needs
Work closely with teaching staff to ensure high-quality support for students
Monitor and assess the progress of students with SEN
Provide advice and training to staff on best practices for supporting SEN students
Collaborate with external agencies to ensure that students receive appropriate support
Champion a culture of inclusion and high expectations for all studentsThe Ideal Candidate:
Educated to degree level (required)
Proven track record of leading improvement in SEN provision
Passionate about raising aspirations and improving educational outcomes for students with SEN
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
