A well-respected and inclusive secondary school in Slough is looking to appoint a dedicated and experienced SENCo from September. This role is central to the school’s commitment to meeting the needs of all learners, particularly those with additional educational, social, and emotional needs.
The SENCo will lead a well-established team and work collaboratively across departments to ensure that provision for students with SEND is robust, personalised, and effective.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

Leading the development and implementation of the SEND strategy across the school

Overseeing the identification, assessment, and review of students with SEND

Coordinating EHCP processes and liaising with external agencies and professionals

Supporting and training staff in differentiation and inclusive classroom practice
*
Ensuring robust tracking, intervention, and parental communication around SEND provision
We Are Looking For a SENCo Who:
*
Has QTS and experience in a SENCo or similar leadership role
*
Holds (or is working towards) the NASENCO qualification
*
Demonstrates deep understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and current legislation
*
Is an excellent communicator with strong leadership and interpersonal skills
*
Is committed to inclusive education and has a passion for helping every student succeed
