SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Description Empowering Learning is working with a SEND School in Sheffield S2, who are seeking Unqualified Learning Support Assistants in their classrooms on a 1:1 basis or within small groups. These roles are due to start ASAP.\n\nBoth full time and part time roles are available\nMonday - Friday 8:30 - 3:30\nPay - Daily Rate between £85-£100\n\nYou will be involved in classroom duties and off-site recreational activities.\n\nDuties\n - Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.\n- Provide support to students with special needs, including those with autism.\n- Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.\n- Help students with daily tasks, such as personal care and hygiene.\n- Support students in their academic and social development.\n- Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students.\n- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.\n- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.\n\nSkills\n - Experience working with children, particularly those with special needs and challenging behaviours.\n- Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.\n- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.\n- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail....
