We are seeking a skilled SEND Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.
About the Role
This full-time role involves working closely with a committed SEN team to provide tailored support for students with a variety of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH. The school is well-resourced, has a purposeful and nurturing learning environment, and offers its staff a strong culture of collaboration and professional development.
You will:
Support students with SEND in one-to-one and small group settings.
Assist in delivering personalised learning strategies aligned with EHCPs.
Help foster an inclusive, respectful, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for learners.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have experience supporting SEND students in an educational setting.
Be confident in adapting learning strategies to meet individual needs.
Demonstrate patience, empathy, and a calm, proactive approach.
Communicate effectively with both students and colleagues.
Hold a valid DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.Please note: We are only able to consider applicants with previous school-based experience.
