While your specialism is important, the school is open to a range of subjects and willing to be flexible based on the strengths of the right candidate. Whether your expertise is in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or another subject, the school wants to hear from you.

You will:

Teach engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN/SEMH

Support students in overcoming barriers to learning and accessing the curriculum

Work closely with support staff and the wider school team to create a consistent and supportive learning environment

Contribute to a nurturing, respectful, and inclusive school culture

Help shape learning plans for students who may require additional social, emotional, or academic support

Key Details:

Location: Secondary school in Hampshire

Start Date: As soon as available

Pay: £120–£170 per day (supply); paid to scale if offered a permanent role

Contract Options: Work on supply initially, or be considered immediately for a permanent position

DBS: An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service is required (or must be obtained at own cost)

About You:

A fully qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)

Confident in teaching across one or more secondary subject areas

Experienced in, or passionate about, supporting students with SEN and/or SEMH needs

Adaptable, calm under pressure, and resilient in a dynamic learning environment

Committed to giving all students the best chance to thrive academically and emotionally

This is an excellent opportunity to join a school that values staff input, is open to flexible subject specialisms, and has room for professional development and growth.
