As a result, we are looking for: 2 – SEN Casework Officer The role is to support the service to fulfil thelocal authority’s statutory obligation to assess, meet and review the needs ofchildren and young peoplewith special educational needs (SEN), through engagement with families and support professionals across the Isle of Wight You will have excellent people skills as you will need to work closely with a range of professionals, families, and colleagues. You will need to have excellentorganisational skillsas this is a fast moving, complex and ever-growing service. You will need to be able to interrogate complex reports and use data to plan and prioritise the work of your team. You will need to understand and work within the SEN Regulations and the SEN Code of Practice. This role requires a level of DBS check.
