SEMH Teaching Assistant - Kettering Location: Kettering Salary: £90 - £100 per day Contract: Temporary and Permanent Roles Available

We are currently recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a nurturing and supportive alternative provision in Kettering , catering to students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties and challenging behaviours.
This school is part of the education and training sector , offering personalised education and therapeutic support to secondary-aged learners who have struggled in mainstream environments. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant , you will work closely with pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis, supporting them both academically and emotionally.
The ideal SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working with teenagers in a school, youth work or voluntary capacity
A passion for supporting children with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour
The ability to remain calm under pressure and build strong, positive relationships
A flexible and proactive approach to managing behaviour and learning challenges
